Impaired Driver Education Programs (IDEP)

Impaired Driver Education Programs (IDEP): IDEP Courses (22 hours) are offered in several locations throughout New Hampshire. The maximum fee for the IDEP, set by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and specified by administrative rule (He-A 500) is $300.00. Out-of-State license holders with Out-of-State convictions are charged $460.00. Claremont: Three (3) sessions: first class on Saturday; second class on Sunday (the next day); third class on the following Saturday. Classes run from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (20 classroom hours). Epping: Six (6) Class sessions are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:00 to 9:15 pm, for three (3) consecutive weeks, (20 classroom hours). Portsmouth: Six (6) Evening Class sessions are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 9:15 pm; Three (3) Weekend sessions class on Saturday; second class on Sunday (the next day); third class on the following Saturday. Classes run from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (20 classroom hours). Salem: Six (6) Evening sessions held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 6:00 to 9:15 pm; Three (3) Weekend sessions on consecutive Saturdays, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (20 classroom hours).
