Weekend Impaired Driver Intervention Program
The WIDIP is conducted at Amethyst House in Epping, New Hampshire. The program fee, set by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and cited in the New Hampshire Code of Administrative Rules (He-A 700), is $585.00. This applies to clients who have been convicted of impaired driving (DWI) in New Hampshire or to New Hampshire drivers who have a conviction for DWI that is listed on their New Hampshire driving records. The fee for Out-of-State license holders with Out-of-State convictions is $545.00. Full payment is required before dates are confirmed. Amethyst guarantees enrollment within thirty (30) days of payment. The WIDIP begins on Friday at 3:00 p.m. and concludes on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Clients must remain on the premises for the entire weekend.
